School Age Teacher

Leaps & Bounds Children’s Centre is a licensed, non-profit child care centre with 3 locations in Arnprior and Renfrew. The Arnprior location is based out of AJ Charbonneau Public School on Baskin Drive. We offer Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten and School Aged Programs.

We require 1 RECE Teacher for our School Age Program - This is an exsisting position

The rate of pay is $28.00 per hour; inclusive of all wage grants, plus 4% holdays.

Requirements:

• Registered with the College of ECE - in good standing
• Experience with young children
• Current Standard First Aid / CPR C
• Current Criminal Reference Check for the Vulnerable Sector
• Proof of up to date immunizations and ability to get note from a medical practitioner indicating good health
• WHMIS, ANAPHYLAXIS, AODA, CCEYA, Workers Health & Safety in 4 Steps, DIABETES certificates

Recommended:

• Knowledge of CCEYA and HDLH

Considered an Asset:

• Experience with children in a licensed childcare centre
• Experience with children with special needs
• Child centered educational background (RECE, DSW, etc)
