Cleaner-New Child Care Centre

Leaps & Bounds Children’s Centre is a licensed, non-profit child care centre with 3 locations in Arnprior and Renfrew and 2 new centres opening in Pembroke. The Pembroke location is in a brand new building located beside Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School on Clemow Avenue in Pembroke.

Leaps and Bounds Children’s Centre- Pembroke is looking for a cleaner/custodian Monday-Friday 5:30 pm-8:30 pm after operating hours. The rate of pay is $25/ hour.  This is a third-party position; meaning you are not an employee of Leaps and Bounds Children’s Centre. This is not a new position. 

Duties include but not limited to sweep, mop and clean fixtures in four program rooms including washrooms; clean, sweep and mop staff room, staff washrooms, hallways and vestibules; wipe and wash windows and ledges; replace light bulbs as needed; wash/wipe down counter tops, and take out the garbage. 

This is a new position for a new centre that is opening the beginning of August.
 

Qualifications:

• Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
• Have your own insurance
• WSIB Insure
• Reliable and have a good work ethic
• Able to perform work in accordance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations, Internal Policies and Procedures and the Ministry of Labor
• Ability to work independently
• Good communication skills, and the ability to follow written instructions
• Certification in WHIMIS, AODA and Health and Safety in 4 Steps (we can help obtain).
