Leaps & Bounds Children’s Centre is a licensed, non-profit childcare centre with 3 locations in Arnprior and

Renfrew. The Renfrew location is based out of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic School in Renfrew. We offer

Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten and School Aged Programs.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging

Contract Support Staff for our Toddler 1 Program Room

The rate of pay is $23.65 per hour,

Hours of Work are Monday to Friday 7:30-3:30 at the centre.

Contract would be for 6 months, with the potential for extension.

Requirements:

Σ Experience with young children

Σ The ability to work well within a team

Σ Current Standard First Aid / CPR C

Σ Current Criminal Reference Check for the Vulnerable Sector

Σ Proof of up-to-date immunizations and ability to get a letter of good health from a health care

practitioner

Σ WHMIS, AODA, CCEYA, Anaphylaxis and Health and Safety in 4 Step certificates (we can help a

successful candidate secure these certificates)

Recommended:

Σ Knowledge of CCEYA and HDLH

Considered an Asset:

Σ Experience with children in a licensed childcare centre, in an inclusive environment

Σ Child centered educational background (RECE, DSW, etc)

Σ Experience supporting children with medical needs, including feeding tube
